Workshops Dvd

problem with playing dvd...?
when i add subtitles to dvds myself, they are not shown in my sony-dvd player (which is plugged to TV set) correctly, but they are shown correctly in my computer; the problem is that only half of the new subtitle is shown on the screen. i tried to change the dvd-player settings with swapping between 16:9, wide or 4:3... but nothing help.
i used these softwares to add new subtitles to my dvd :
1. Subtitle Workshop
2. Subtitle Tool
3. Subtitle Creator
4. DVDDecrypter
4. PGCDemux
5. Muxman
6. IFOEdit
7. VobBlanker
why does it happen in dvd-player but not in computer? and what can i do?
pixels are different on TVs and computer monitors
ur gonna have to move the titles up before u burn it to the dvd.
pixels = dots
there are 1280 across the top of ur laptops screen ur TV screen usually has 640 or 720.
so if u put em too high or too far over, ur not gonna see em on some displays.
some programs have a setting to show u the lines before u
burn the disc, so u can move the titles and stuff to make sure.
try looking for a preview or something of what it would would like on your tv on one of the softwares
