Washable Fingerpaint
What is the best fake blood?
Last year I attempted to make a large batch of fake blood for a blood themed party. After some research online, I was led to believe that crayola washable finger paint was the best. Supposedly this washable fingerpaint would not stain clothes. Well, after a long night of bloody mayhem, myself and several friends ended up with clothes covered in red stains that would not wash away.
So, I am on a quest once again. What is the best thing to use when making fake blood? I am looking for something fairly inexpensive and most importantly something that will not stain.

Corn syrup is a start, but it will still require an additive for the red color.
red is a very difficult color . it has the deepest pigments, and is the easiest to stain or dye.
