Acrylic Watercolor

Can I achieve a permanent watercolor appearance with acrylic?
I'm currently painting a shirt right now, it's my first time doing it by freehand (I've done it many times with a stencil and foamy brush). If I water down the acrylic a bit and paint with that, will it wash out? And also, since I'm not pushing the paint into the fabric (like I usually do with the foamy brush) and simply painting ON it, will it be easier to wash off...?
Yes, it will wash out a bit if you paint it with thinned out acrylics. If you paint ON it, like lightly, then it's probably going to wash out about the same anyway. In that case of painting lightly like that only on the surface, the paint can't be too wet because if it's wet enough it will probably get absorbed anyway no matter how lightly you try to paint.
