Set Wood
I just bought a cherry wood bedroom set with dresser. What is the best way to clean it?
This is my first piece of very nice furniture, and I don't want to damage it.

Use lemon oil or orange oil on it to keep it moist and prevent splitting.. Wash it down with Murphy's Oil Soap about once or twice a year to get any build up off. Be careful of some of the commercial polishes; they smudge terribly.
