Paint Cobalt

How would I paint my chevy bowtie?
I've seen different colored chevy bowties around. I have a cobalt and was wanting to repaint my bowtie. Step by step instructions please.
I actually painted the SS emblems on my Cobalt SS/TC black - who wants to advertise!
I used Rustoleum paint, and a good artisan's brush, but with a larger bowtie, you may actually want to mask and spray it. You need to thoroughly clean the emblem beforehand, then thoroughly mask the area with tape and paper. Put a good couple coats of paint on it, and if you can, allow it to dry thoroughly before taking your car out for regular abuse.
You may actually be able to talk to a local auto body shop, and they may do a quick mask and paint for you for a few bucks - and you'll likely get the best results that way.
