Release Coupling

As a wedding photographer how would you market yourself if you're willing to release the rights to the couple?
Would most couples understand what you are about or even care?
PhotoguyRyan made a great point.
I didn't get to keep my wedding negatives. I wish I had them now.
So, how many of you wedding photographers do keep getting ongoing orders for prints, beyond the initial contract, and maybe within weeks of the wedding??
Not looking for anecdotal "personal" experience, but how many wedding photogs are not available after say a year, if prints need to be ordered for an anniversary party, because they have moved on in some way? Died, went out of business, divorced and the ex got the business, suffered fire losses, etc...
To me, if I pay someone $3000 for 3 hours of work, printing extra, I should own those negatives or original files. I shouldnt pay extra for the "rights".
