Prismacolor and Canson?

Hi!!!!! Well, I'm looking to buy prismacolor colored pencils, artist pencils(as in for sketching) and artist pads. I'm pretty positive I want to buy prismacolor colored pencils. I will probably have to shade a little here and there and blending also. I was on their website and I came across the Premier pencils. Would that be a good buy? and probably a 120 or 72ct. in that. And also, what would be a good Canson book to buy? What pencils would be good from prismacolor for sketching? And last but not least, the eraser. What eraser would be better, Magic Rub or kneaded rubber?

Prismacolors are the best, truly. I haven't had the opportunity to buy a whole set, I usually buy the colors individually depending upon what kind of work I'm doing. But, if you've got the means to buy it, go for it. They also have a great set of blending pencils. For sketching, I'd just recommend a regular sketch pencil though. Canson is great, but it also depends upon what kind of tooth you like in your paper - light tooth is great for pencils. Very smooth. As for an eraser, definitely a kneaded one - easy to manipulate!
