Palette Knife

Do i have a personality disorder?
I have frequent changes of mood, but they are not so severe to be considered Bi-polar, i feel irritable one day, happy the next, then sad the following day. and it doesn't last so long, i can go from happy to irritable in a matter of hours, usually when i am irritable it's directed toward a person, and i can't look at them or i'll basically harshly criticize them to every detail.
I had one bad episode where i was upset and literally took a palette knife and ruined almost all of my paintings, my sister had to hold me back as well as a family friend- but those outbursts rarely occur.
maybe i am just over analyzing?
You are asking a very healthy question. Your question tells me you are able to basically keep yourself in check for the most part. You are testing your limits and looking for balance. You are creative and need to chanel this energy into your creative projects and not hurt other people who have hearts.
Maintain a healthy balanced diet. Meditate. Moderate exercise in nature. Surround yourself with positive supportive people. Keep track of your menstrual cycle on your calendar. Avoid too much caffeine, alcohol, & sugar. Most likely you are feeling like verbally attacking someone when your hormones begin to make you edgey around your period.
Are you carrying a lot of stored anger in your system? Ask yourself if there is any one or thing you need to forgive and let go of the anger and move on. If your mood swings escalate, see a professional doctor.
