Paint Phthalo

What is the correct way to pronounce "phthalo"?
I have been painting with this pigment my whole life and I just figured out how to spell it. Now I need to know how to say it. It looks like fffff-thalo and someone said it's "thigh low" but I don't know. Help!
Um, Jupiter doesn't have a ph. Is it silent and invisible too?
