Inch Drawing

What is the area of a trapezoid with the dimensions of (top) 4 inches, bottom right and left angles three inch
The top is 4 inches. if you draw two straight lines from the two top corners down, you get three inches to the left and to the right of the center section. so top is 4 inch, and bottom is 3, 4, 3.
i can't see any possible solution to that problem..
you see, you need the height..
i know some to get the height using the principles of the right triangle, may that be Pythagorean, 30-60-90m or 45-90-90 but something is missing..a given! one more given is what i need to solve that
sorry
