Cadmium Orange

Are cadmium orange hue and cobalt blue hue, complementary colors?
i just want to use orange and blue, but I don't know what kind..?
Yes they are, orange and blue are complementary. Hue on the tube means that they are made of sinthetic pigments instead of pure pigments. Cobalt and cadium are names given to colors by manufacturers. Cobalt blue is a warm blue and Cadium is orange pigment made from that mineral. You can also check out the manufacturer on line and see how they make the paint, pretty interesting stuff.
