Nvidia Quadro FX 580 will not Install on my PC?
I bought a Nvidia Quadro FX 580 and I installed it in my computer.
When I restarted my computer, a message must pop to say a new hard ware is found,
I don’t get any message, strange.
I checked System Properties – Hardware and there is a ” yellow ! “ Intel(R) E7525/E7520 PCI Express Root Port B0-3597.
Doest this means my driver is missing ???
I removed the Nvidia Quadro FX 580 and put my old card back Geforce 6610 xl and restarted, a message say new hardware found and searches for the driver.
I checked System Properties – Hardware its all OK !!
My motherboard is Intel(R) Xeon CPU 3.20GHz
Motherboard Model SE7525GP2
Help Pleeeeease
I know the quadro is made for CAD and 3D stuff. The 6610 is for gaming. but why Install on my PC?

there may be many reasons why the new hardware is found message does not appear when windows is restarted however it a sure bet the yellow exclamation mark is the reason
from what i can see the PCI Express Root Port B0-3597 problem is to do with the "inf update" which is a small driver/update that should be installed before any other driver,you can normally find this on your motherboard driver disk however it sometimes comes as part of a chipset driver
i have found the "Intel Chipset INF 7.2.2.1006.zip" (http://download.cnet.com/Intel-Chipset-INF-7-2-2-1006-zip/3000-2122_4-163062.html)which if you look down the list on the download page supports the E7525/E7520 PCI Express Root Port B0-3597.
uninstall the current driver for your Nvidia Quadro FX 580 and when this is done install this "inf update" restart the pc(even if not prompted to) and then reinstall the quadro driver
this should sort out your problem...............
